I don't know. If I were GM I would insist that either those two guys started out form level 1 together with that guy or that he got to roll a higher level character. Having a level 1 with two uber high characters just doesn't sound like fun and invites to crap like that.

Also, when they told him to put down that beer because "this is serious", I would have taken that as a hint to leave the place if I were the player. We play these games to have fun, not to sit around and hear "This is serious" shit.

Just my opinion.

Just remember to tell him to use the flat side of the sword, ogres can be forgetful in that way unless you remind them. After all, we don't want Connovan cleaved in two just because he forgot to tell whoever spanked him such a minor detail would we?
