Are you unable to select Gargos so far? I don't see it available on the select screen....... all I see is the American servers...any way to change this?

Hmm sounds like you've got the North American release of AION. I have no idea if it's possible to change region, but I could select gorgos (and all other european servers). If you login to NCSoft to manage your account you should see a menu "Game accounts" on your right side, click it, in that list mine says "AION (Europe)".

Calizor, try this: Start the NCsoft Launcher, click File -> Settings, click Advanced tab, change region to European and see if that helps. You probably need to restart the launcher afterwards though.

Yeah, I just did....and suddenly I was logged into Aion North America....with Korean writing. I'm trying to uninstall the game...and redownload it Another 8-10 hour download ....with no guarantee that it will work

Aww that suck, what I've read it supposed to just patch a few files to change region, but of course it could be bugged.

EDIT: My guess is that you actually bought the NA copy, not sure if you can get in touch with the support and see if you can get that changed.

What language is selected on the advance tab? (English, German, Spanish or Japanese).
Friend of ours had the same problem. He just selected and deselected the region couple of times & and restarted launcher each time, and it resolved itself that way.

The beta client you nee should be around 9GB? (seems like the North America client is a bit smaller (around 6 GB).

Our client still says installed North America version with region Europe but is showing all European servers. And in English

I just tested changing region to North America, it asked me to restart the launcher. Once I did the Installed section said "Aion (Europe)" previously it just said Aion. It was also possible to install Aion again, I guess Aion (North America).

I then selected Europe region again, once again after a restart the install of NA Aion was gone and the installed game section just said Aion.

Yeah, I tried the simple switch region, but it didn't work, let's see what happens after this big download. I'm at 35% now Long way to go.

Yeah, like Keith already said, I'll be checking out Aion as well - and since Keith, my bro and I are playing an MMO every friday we might as well be playing Aion ^^ Will try to convince my bro - and what server we play on doesn't matter, does it? So we might as well be playing on Gargos... though I'd prefere Asmodians
